My name is Kathy Shanks; I’m a businesswoman and entrepreneur with a passion for journaling. Over the years, I’ve filled my mind with as much personal development content as my brain could handle. I have successfully used this knowledge, combined with my skills as a graphic designer, to create a guided journaling method that has allowed me to live my best life on my terms. My journals are simple strategies that help me successfully manage my three businesses and enjoy time with my family, whilst maintaining a healthy, balanced lifestyle.
Inside you’ll discover how to use my method of journaling to:
- Work towards creating balance for heart, mind, body and soul without sacrificing career and relationships
- Create rituals that help you develop gratitude
- Use daily affirmations to practice positivity and manifest your future dreams
- Discover strategies to improve your relationships, build your life mission, start a side hustle, discover yourself, develop self-love, improve your health AND improve your mindset
It seems too good to be true, right! Organising your thoughts and dreams in 10-20 minutes a day can be that one simple change that actually makes your dreams become a reality.

I really liked the tone of this book. It is very positive and promotes using journaling to have a balanced life and believe in yourself. The focus is to learn about yourself and work on gratitude and getting the life that you really want and deserve. In addition, it comes with a very nice free downloadable workbook that goes along with the book to help aid you in your practice with no excuses. Unlike a lot of people, I do not have frustrations with my relationships or work, but I do with my health and the world in general. I think this book will help me work out some of those frustrations. It is well written and easy to read and comprehend. Nicely done.

Beautiful book that is very simply put, non technical. It is easy and enjoyable journey to follow. Guided Journaling combines different simple practices and techniques to create fantastic journalling outcomes even for those of us who can’t articulate our thoughts.

As the title goes miss.shanks has done a great job in walking us through a guided journaling approach. Concept / theme-wise It is much comparable to the any other book on LOA. This book stands out in the place where author has provided specific questions on every topic to make us think on ‘where we are?’ – ‘what we want?’ – ‘gap analysis and timing’ and finally ‘goal’!
This surely is a great positive for this book. I can conveniently take these questions over to my journal and be phenomenal in drafting my day & plan for future!
